Meditations to include:
contemplation of your personal shadow issues,
an aura cleansing to unblock the third eye chakra (psychic center),
powerful mantras to protect oneself from supernatural danger, and
a guided meditation to help balance light/dark with wisdom and guidance from the Dark Mother

Our 4th Source – Jewish & Christian Teachings

Monday, April 29 from 6 PM – 8 PM

Join us on the last Monday of every month for our Adult religious education classes. The program for Spring 2019 will be based on our six Unitarian Universalist sources, and the song “Spirit of Life” where we discuss our UU faith, history, and legacy in depth for all spiritual and theological persuasions.

This 4th interactive workshop will focus on our 4th source, Jewish and Christian teachings which call us to respond to God’s love by loving our neighbors as ourselves.

We will explore our core historical UU beliefs which include: the “oneness” of God, universal salvation, and the Jefferson Bible which captures the life and morals of Jesus.

Beltane Celebration, Potluck & Ritual

Saturday, May 4 from 6 PM – 8 PM

Join us at the UU Fellowship of Otero County (1010 16th St.) for our annual celebration of Beltane, also known popularly as May Day! This is a time where we welcome fertility, prosperity, and the beginning of Summer! We will be dancing the maypole indoors this year, chanting old Pagan rhymes, and honoring the old ones with a bonfire! ~

Potluck will begin at 6 PM
Ritual will start promptly at 7 PM
